2021 Take Pride Community Wide Trash Pick-Up Contest

Help us keep our community clean! Stop by the Travel Information Centre to pick up garbage bags and PPE. After you have collected garbage around town, return your bags to the Centre.

How to Enter the Contest

Take a photo of yourself and all of the bags you collect, and then post it to the Sioux Lookout Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page. Please include the total number of bags collected in your post. First prize for the most bags collected will receive a $500 Fresh Market Gift Card. Second place prize is a $250 Fresh Market Gift Card.

Important Rules

Household garbage is not allowed and will not be counted!

Please be cautious when collecting garbage and always wear personal protective gear (gloves) and closed-toe shoes. Do not pick up needles without using a sharps collecting kit. Please contact the NWHU to pick up one of these kits, or for more information on collecting and disposing of needles in a safe manner.
